Members of Trout Unlimited chapter # 403.
The Hawaii Historic Arms Association (HHAA) is holding their gun show at the Neal Blaisdell Exhibition Hall.
Date: September 30th and October 1st, 2023
Location: Neal Blaidell Exhibition Hall
Hours: 10 am – 5 pm Saturday and Sunday
We have NOT had a presence at this event for the past 3 years and we need to represent our chapter at this indoor event.
I have paid for 2 display tables, as we have had in the past. We need members to set up and man the booth. You will talk to people who are interested in Trout fishing here in Hawaii and what our chapter does in Kokee, Kauai for stream restoration, clearing of hiking trails and of course exploring Kokee. And yes spread the word that we have Trout here in Hawaii.
Normally they have 2000 – 3000 people who walk through the doors on this weekend and some are potential members for our TU chapter.
I cannot do this alone, so I am sending out this message in the form of a blog report and email.
Call me at 808-395-4607 to sign up for a 2 hour “shift” to man the booth. You will get into the show for free and when not manning the booth, you will be able to enjoy the show and all the displays that are there.
It is a great way to spend the day and give back to our chapter in spreading the word of our good work on Kauai with stream restoration. Remember that we have our Rice Cabin as our “home” (see www.tuhi.org/rice-cabin/) to learn more.
So plan ahead for this weekend and sign up now.
