Aloha Trout Unlimited members-
Due to the ongoing World pandemic, I have had to cancel the New Zealand trip for February 2021. I had a house in Turangi rented for the whole month of February, but New Zealand is not letting ANYONE into the country and my Kiwi friends tell me it will be that way for the next 4 to 6 months.
DAMN — I was really looking forward to fishing Lake “O” and the back country streams I have come to know so well. So, I guess the New Zealand trip will have to be re-scheduled for February 2022.
In the mean time — I will refocus on Kauai and our cabin in Kokee — that is WHEN we “Outer-Islanders” can once again fly over there WITHOUT having to quarantine for 10 days!!
